This is a cut glass desk inkwell / inkstand, the kind that would have sat on a writing desk back when fountain pens and dip pens ruled the world. It is made of good quality cut glass with beautiful arches on the base typical of Edwardian / Victorian design. Being made of glass, it was easy to see how much ink left. Great condition with no chips or marks on the bottle, and including the original stopper which has a tiny chip in one of the sides but is barely noticeable. I have reflected that on the price. Could be potentially be used as a perfume holder for the dressing table as it looks absolutely stunning. Measurements are 8 cm on the base and 10 cm tall with the stopper.
