Vintage 50's Off White Tiered Taffeta Lace Wedding Dress Gown Small Union Made
This dress is in excellent condition. Worn once and then put into storage. The only show of wear is creases in the elbow on the long sleeves
The dress is made of a thick taffeta fabric that is off white, like eggshell
Under the taffeta in the front is a wide lace layer showing at the bottom with a netting under for volume
The taffeta bodice has a metal zipper up the back with a hook and eye closure. Then, the bustle look begins just under the waist. The skirt is mostly lace layers with netting for volume just like the front. The back has such a different look from the front
Large lace appliqués adorn the taffeta
There are several sewers blue paper showing who made the gown. Union label is attached to one. The long sleeves are pointed with a snap to fit just right.
